IT'S BACK! yes, After a lenghty hiatus whilst Andrew
undertook study (honours oh my) FILM SCREENINGS ARE BACK!

The new thang will be launched at SYRUP, Hobart on the afternoon of november the 12th, featuring a sneaky secret preview of STICKY CARPET, the new doco on the Melbourne Undergound music scene, followed by BASEBALL - a fantastic band featured in the film, LOVE THE BOMB, a new band made up of ex-tasmanians and Hobarts own breakcore lunatic DJ and sound abuser, the one and only IDIOT LUST.

after that, REGULAR FILM SCREENINGS!! YES!

At SYRUP, first screening the 21st of December, with a special feature on schlock wunderkind Frank Daft, the man recently named the most offensive film maker of the year by TRASHARAMA!!

Underground in Melbourne
- went well! Small but vocal audience; and the venue GLITCH was excellent. Marcus the owner/barman/tech dude was highly amicable, his venue is well worth checking out - drop in next time you're in North Fitzroy.

Underground @ The Fringe
@ The Backspace from 9.30 Monday & Tuesday nights - a very eclectic selection of 'Hits' from the 2004 season, some new works and a surprise or two. Get along as that's the film screening for this month - @ THE BACKSPACE!

Andrew is knackered, there is change afoot in the wings so keep an eye on the site - we are applying to MUFF. Everyone cross their fingers. Tasmanian Underground Film will explode in 2005!

Yes film fans, TUFF - Tasmanian Underground Film Festival in Sydney this THURSDAY. At the hallowed ground of the Valhalla in Glebe, from 8pm, Tasmanian weirdness abounds - THE WINNERS, TIGER FORCE, BUMMING, PIGLESS, THE CELLULOID CURSE AGAINST THE CURRENT GOVERNMENT, + more.

Winners BADGES made by Ghost Patrol will be on sale, as will comix by Simon James. $9/8, get along!

FLUFF! is on this thursday (25 Nov) 8pm @ The Venue, Salamanca Place. Get along for some unadulterated fluff!
